The 25th of July 2022 was a remarkable and auspicious day for the Members of the Good Governance Awareness Initiative. We were able to launch our research on a survey “Why People Sell and Buy Votes in Nigeria”.
The organization organized a Press Conference to buttress its findings and recommendations of the research led by Executive Director Maureen Onwukwe, the Chairman BOT GGAI Prof. Charles Nwekealu, and other members of the Team. The organization’s partner ICPC, was in attendance.
The BOT Chairman gave his opening remarks, while the Executive Director gave the Press Statement.
The project Team leader Mr. Farouk was able to give a detailed explanation of the research which gave room for the Press to ask questions and made suggestions.
The organization is now working tooth and nail to ensure that Our recommendations are put to use.
