Charles Nwekeaku

He is a trained and professional teacher, administrator media and management consultant seasoned journalist, political analyst and chieftain of Oha-na-Eze Ndi Igbo, holds BSc (Hons) Government/Education, second class upper division, M.A. Mass Communication, MSc International Relations- all of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, as well as PhD Public Administration from the University of Benin, Benin City. 

Nwrkeaku was the former Owerri Zonal Editor and later Deputy Editor of the Sunray Publications Ltd., Port Harcourt, Publishers of the Daily Sunray; National Communication Consultant to UNICEF/WHO Joint Monitoring Project, JMP, on Water and Sanitation in Nigeria; Education and enlightenment Consultant to the defunct Petroleum Trust Fund, PTF, South East Zone. 

Coordinator/ Director, Abuja Study Center, Federal University  of Technology, Owerri, (FUTO), among other professional positions. He was a consultant to many organizations and institutions, including the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Raw Materials Research and Development Council, RMDC, National Planning Commission, NPC, author of the Peoples Diplomat; Local Government Administration in Nigeria, among other publications.

Nwekeaku is a Facilitator of the MBA and MPA programmes and the National Open University of Nigeria in association with the Commonwealth of learning as well as the immediate past Head, Department of Public Administration, Nassarawa State University Keffi. 

He is presently a member of Igbo think-thank of Igbo Presidency, also the Secretary Igbo Elders consultative forum and Secretary Ime-Obi FCT which makes policy for Ohaneze Ndi Igbo.
